This Album Reboot project explores the relationship between music and visual media in order to convey a theme of duality found within the content of the vinyl. Leon Bridges produced a 60’s soul style album within the 2010’s era dominated by pop music. To embody this already apparent duality, I embedded prominent stylizations and motifs found within both eras and the music itself such as color grading, surrealist collage, and overlays into all components of the album. Through many iterations of trial and error, I developed an energetic album design that implements styles cohesive that adhere to conflicting periods in time.
